Sales Assistant

Position Summary

A growing, international people insights company in the Perimeter Area of Atlanta is ready to onboard a uniquely qualified Inside Sales Assistant Professional to support the Sales Team in building a fast growth business. This position focuses on assisting the sales team leadership in all facets of the sales process. The position reports directly to the Chief Relationship Officer by supporting the execution of a Sales strategy approved by leadership team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls and assist clients and prospective clients.
  • Handle orders, customer requests, and other inquiries related to sales.
  • Perform data entry when orders are completed or changed.
  • Process sales data and progress reports.
  • Help with researching prospects and lead generation
  • Follow-up on sales leads.
  • Direct sales leads to appropriate member of sales team.
  • Answer questions about solutions offered to clients
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence.
  • Maintain Salesforce client database.
  • Make PowerPoint presentations for sales team leaders.
  • Arrange meetings and conference rooms.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for sales events.
  • Organize events, conferences, and other meetings.
  • Ensure all client information is correct in company CRM.
  • Attend trade shows to promote products.
  • Resolve promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices.
  • Track sales expenses.
  • Analyze sales reports.
  • Complete quarterly sales meeting data, templates, and presentations.

Critical Talents, Experience and Qualities

  • 2 -3 Years Sales Assistant Experience with Financial Services Sales, SaaS Sales Environment and/or Professional Consulting Sales
  • CRM Experience - Salesforce preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Relationship/People-oriented, Outgoing, comfortable developing relationships
  • Has strong follow-through and ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated to meet/exceed daily activity goals
  • Detail oriented and comfortable with new technologies
  • Proactive in problem-solving
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to set appointments, manage calendars for Executive Team
  • Ability to effectively relate to a customer
  • Interested in personal and professional growth
  • Interest in behavioral science as it relates to organizational success
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day

Compensation: Base Package with Commission
